Events & Fundraising

For enquiries about any events we attend or host, please see the Contact & Enquiries page and either send us an email or fill in the contact form to discuss details and fees. Our activities are not restricted to the events and fundraising listed here, and we welcome enquiries about other activities you think our society might be able to assist with. Included with our operational vehicles, our fleet includes a fire command unit which has been converted into a mobile museum, perfect for large public displays such as school fairs and gala days.

Children’s Parties
We attend children’s parties and events with appliances, providing rides and a chance for young ones to use the fire hose. These have proven very popular with children and parents alike.

Auto Events
Our fleet is perfect for displays at auto events, and we have attended many over the years to great public interest.

School Displays
We are able to provide similar services as our children’s parties for entertainment and educational purposes for events such as school fairs. Please contact us for details if your school is interested in our activities.

Santa Parade
Our appliances have been a crowd pleaser at the annual Dunedin Santa Parade for some years, and we are pleased to continue to participate in the parade each year.

Community Gala Days
We are available to provide displays and other services at community gala days, and have attended both the Brighton and Mosgiel gala days over the years. If you are interested in having us attend and provide activities at a community gala day or similar community event, please contact us to discuss details.

Funerals
One of our services is the provision of a fire appliance for funerals, as a send off to brigade veterans who have passed. To discuss the details of this service with us, please do contact us about this service.

Weddings
We are available to attend weddings with our appliances, for those with a connection to or love for the brigade and its heritage.

Running BBQs
We are able to run barbeques at large events, or provide our own equipment to do so at events such as gala days or fairs. Contact us for details.
